About the Company

SynaTree is a small LLC located in Pennsylvania, in business since 2007. We offer a broad range of skills and services, including Web Design and Development, Application and Database Development, Server-side technologies, and Professional Services.

We specialize in web programming in PHP, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and related technologies. We are particularly well versed in creating and maintaining websites using the Joomla! platform. We develop custom components for the Joomla! system and other similar technologies.  Our primary website technology is Spark, our own hybrid content management system based on Joomla!.  Our principal developer has over 13 years of experience and is versed in 23 programming languages. Typical projects include creating completely custom websites utilizing Spark, creating custom Joomla! components, or authoring custom user interface elements for any web-based system using the MooTools framework.

Our Database and Application Design Team handles software development, troubleshooting, and systems integration tasks for customers utilizing database technologies as varied as MySQL and Microsoft Access. Our database specialist has over 15 years of experience developing database-driven applications for the financial, industrial, and educational sectors. A typical project might involve fixing a troubled custom database implementation, or designing a specialized business application from scratch.

We also handle complex IT challenges for our regional customers and consult on IT and technology matters for any client with a need for our experience and broad expertise across a variety of platforms. We have specialized resources in-house to assist in eDiscovery, litigation preparedness, and expert witnessing.

Finally, our skill sets carry over into the enterprise network environment very well. We are experienced in deploying LAMP servers in business environments, including in-house implementations of Apache, Tomcat, Linux Software, and the Alfresco Enterprise Content Management System.
